Dozens of faithful gathered on Sunday, 26 November 2017, in the Romanian church in the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) to honor the “Saint of Transylvania,” 28 years after his repose.
The Memorial Service was officiated by Fr. Iosif Cristian Rădulescu, parish priest of the Romanian community in Düsseldorf. Each of the faithful present wished to offer Father Arsenie their gratitude and to ask for his help, as someone who remains alive in their lives.
Although not yet canonized by the Romanian Orthodox Church, every year millions of people from Romania and abroad travel to Prislop to pray at the tomb of the great spiritual father, who worked countless miracles both in life and after death.
