Parish Library Day in Düsseldorf#

On Sunday, 19 November 2023, the Düsseldorf parish celebrated Parish Library Day, marking six years of activity. Coordinated by Ms. Ruxandra Grou, an ATORG member, our parish library project enjoys the support of many faithful.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the Parish Library awarded prizes to its most faithful readers in three categories: adults, teenagers, and children.

This year the Düsseldorf parish library significantly improved its book collection with support from the Department for Romanians Abroad, which approved a project to supply our library.

Reading is essential for cultivating Romanian language and culture and for deepening the content of the faith. The library is now finalizing the project to create a book-lovers club, which will meet regularly to discuss selected books.

We thank the entire Düsseldorf Parish Library team and wish them continued success, and we wish our readers even more zeal for reading.

This sixth anniversary underscored our gratitude for the donors and volunteers who keep the shelves growing and for the readers who carry the Romanian word forward in the parish.
