Feast of the Holy Trinity

On Monday, 9 June 2025, the Feast of the Holy Trinity and patronal feast of the Düsseldorf parish, our community gathered festively to welcome His Grace Varlaam Ploieșteanul, Patriarchal Vicar Bishop, on a pastoral visit to several parishes in NRW.

His Grace celebrated the Holy and Divine Liturgy with a concelebration of priests and deacons, including Prof. Dr. Daniel Benga.

In his homily, Bishop Varlaam placed on the hearts of the faithful essential aspects of Orthodox teaching about the Holy Trinity, explaining the importance of understanding the Trinity’s work in all our lives.

His Grace also expressed joy at being among a parish with families raising their children in the spirit of our Orthodox faith.

The chanting was led by tenor Cezar Dima and baritone Cătălin Moței of the Düsseldorf Opera, together with collaborators.

We thank everyone present and all who supported the organization of the event.
