The Logic of Inner Health#

On Friday, 22 June 2018, Hieromonk Atanasie Ulea delivered the conference “The Logic of Inner Health” in the Düsseldorf parish.

Drawing on his experience as a spiritual father and as a psychiatrist, Fr. Atanasie explored in detail the balanced development of a person’s relationship with God, with others, and with oneself as the primary source of mental and spiritual health.

After the talk, he answered many questions from participants, using both theological and medical arguments.

“It was a very special event, and we were glad to see how much common ground exists between spiritual counseling and psychotherapy. We are grateful to Fr. Atanasie Ulea for his exceptional effort in making this very useful conference possible,” said Protopresbyter Iosif-Cristian Rădulescu, pastor of the Düsseldorf community.
