Family Day#

On Sunday, 10 November 2024, the Romanian Orthodox Parish in Düsseldorf held its traditional “Family Day.”

Now at its tenth edition, the celebration once again brought the community together in an atmosphere of gratitude and joy.

The event began with a Service of Thanksgiving, celebrated immediately after the Divine Liturgy, and continued with an artistic and musical program hosted in the parish hall of the Greek Orthodox Church in Düsseldorf, kindly made available by Fr. Theofanis Lappas.

The program opened with a folk dance performance by our parish dance group “Romanian Joy,” prepared by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Raluca Mincu. Beautiful surprises followed for both children and adults, prepared by Laura Moraru and Adina Popescu.

Music for the event was provided by DJ Gerry with an excellent set.

Protopresbyter Dr. Iosif Cristian Rădulescu wholeheartedly thanked all participants for their spirit of fellowship and for every effort supporting the pastoral work. Special thanks were extended to Oana and Paul Bagiu and to Dr. Jemina and Laurențiu Benga for organizing the event.
