On Sunday, 31 August 2025, Romanian Language Day, the Romanian Orthodox Parish in Düsseldorf received the official visit of Dr. Stefan Keller, Lord Mayor of the state capital Düsseldorf, and Dr. Dan Moraru, Consul General of Romania in Bonn.
After the Divine Liturgy, which the two distinguished guests attended, Protopresbyter Dr. Iosif Cristian Rădulescu, parish priest of the community, welcomed them, highlighting the mayor’s special attention to spirituality and to the Orthodox communities in Düsseldorf, and thanking him for the honor of his visit. He also offered special thanks to the Consul General for facilitating the meeting.
A short greeting was also offered on behalf of the Romanian Teachers Association in NRW by its president, Prof. Simona Pop, and on behalf of the Romanian Doctors Association in NRW by its president, Dr. Laurențiu Gafencu.
