On Sunday, March 22, 2026, a children's event in honor of the Mother of God and the Christian family took place at the Düsseldorf parish. The children shared messages of reverence for the Mother of God and appreciation for families who raise their children in the true faith. Their words reflected gratitude for the great blessings they experience in their families.
The event featured a rich, meaningful decoration created by teacher Sandu Miruna. The decor evoked both the house of the Mother of God and every participant's own family home, while also referencing the "Endless Column", an element especially revered this year in honor of the great Romanian sculptor Constantin Brâncuși.
Archpriest dr. Iosif Cristian Rădulescu connected the Endless Column with the Orthodox faith's aspiration to live an eternal and infinite life with God, and praised the exceptional efforts of teachers, children, and parents.
The event brought much joy to everyone present, striking with the depth of its message, the elaborate decoration, and the presence of several generations of children from the Düsseldorf parish family.
We thank the teachers from the Asociația Profesorilor Români din NRW for organizing this special event: Anișoara and Nicu Aanicăi, Tatiana Chelaru, Emilia Pană and Miruna Sandu, who created this culturally and spiritually meaningful moment.
