      The Light from Colciu

      On Friday, 22 May 2026, the Romanian Orthodox Parish of Düsseldorf organized a screening of the documentary film “Lumina de la Colciu” at Kulturhaus Garath.

      The documentary presents testimonies about Saint Dionisie Vatopedinul of Colciu, a Romanian saint recently canonized by the Ecumenical Patriarchate.

      The screening was received with emotion by more than 100 viewers who gathered to learn more about the life and gifts of Saint Dionisie.

      At the end of the event, participants venerated the holy relics of Saint Dionisie, given to the Düsseldorf parish by the “Saint George” Cell at Colciu on Mount Athos.
