#Summer Patronal Feast 2026

On Pentecost Sunday, 31 May 2026, the Romanian Orthodox Parish of Düsseldorf celebrated its summer patronal feast. After the Divine Liturgy and the Pentecost Vespers, the faithful took part in the summer celebration in Düsseldorf-Wersten.

In an atmosphere of fellowship, the members of the parish shared moments of joy and spiritual rest.

The dance group “Bucurie Românească”, led by Associate Professor Dr. Raluca Mincu, once again offered a special performance of Romanian folk dances, which was received with great enthusiasm.

The Association of Romanian Teachers in NRW also prepared a surprise for Children’s Day, bringing the children present the joy of a special ice cream.

The celebration continued until the evening and, as every time, brought rest to the souls of those seeking the joy of fellowship.
