On Friday, 20 April 2018, with the archpastoral blessing of Metropolitan Serafim, the Düsseldorf parish hosted the conference of Fr. Prof. Constantin Necula.
The professor was eagerly awaited by Romanian Orthodox faithful from Düsseldorf and the surrounding area. Marking the 2018 Centenary Year, the conference was titled “United in Hope and Spirit” and addressed national unity in today’s world. A central point of his talk was an exhortation to deepen the history that binds us and to learn about those who marked it through their own sacrifice.
Fr. Constantin Necula then answered participants’ questions. The issue of depression was intensely discussed in this second part, appearing in several questions from the faithful.
Protopresbyter Iosif-Cristian Rădulescu thanked Fr. Necula for his grace-filled words, which brought comfort and encouragement to the faithful present, and for the entire ministry he carries out in Romania and abroad to the glory of God.
